Book signing
Early Christmas Present
For Christmas this year we decided to give activities rather than "things." Everybody thought of different things they wanted to do as a family, like playing halo, rockband, going shooting, etc.
I actually requested a different activity from each member of the familly. From my dad I asked for a "geocaching adventure."
So this is it. We thought about waiting to do it when the whole family could be there, but the weather was just so good that I couldn't wait! So we are short a few members.
It was really fun. We found 3 different caches and had some pretty crazy adventures. The caches were mostly a let down, but we had some good times on the way!
This was one of the caches. A "micro" cache. How dumb. The little log paper was shoved in there so tightly that we couldn't even get it out to sign it.

¡Paletas!
Paleta is a Spanish word used for popsicle ( I feel like a Sesame Street muppet right now just saying that).

The cutest little shop in downtown Provo just opened that sells paletas and nachos and ice cream and other treats. We went last weekend to pick up some treats to share with the fam. As you can see, these are very high class popsicles. You can choose between cream-based or water-based popsicles, and there are a ton of flavors. Shown above from left to right: Oreo cream, cream with strawberry in the center, strawberry (notice the real strawberry adornment at the bottom of the stick) and mixed fruit (I couldn't resist the kiwi).

They also sell frozen, chocolate covered bananas. We bought one and took a picture just to make Dad jealous!
Anyway, the paletas are amazing and so is the ice cream. The establishment was had a nice, family friendly atmosphere, and everything is so organized and clean and inviting. They have several little cute tables to sit at, and music in the background. I would recommend it to anyone. I don't know the name of it, because there is no sign or anything, but it is on the west side of center street.
Oh yeah, and if you go, brush up on your Spanish. I don't know how much English is spoken there.
