**disclaimer** I don't know that we will ever be able to take a serious family picture...although google-ing "awkward family pictures" right before the photo shoot didn't help matters....but it did make it more fun.





I've been begging our traveling Artist to make me some Día de los Muertos skulls for at least a year. We finally got around to it. He did a great job. I can't wait to paint.

At one point I'm pretty sure everyone in the room was singing along to Weezer. I think most of my brothers learned how to play guitar from Weezer, so when they all come home and break out the guitars, it isn't just a family reunion, but a Weezer revival.

Susan and I went about 100 miles west into the desert for some geode hunting. Half of it was along dirt roads and the old Pony Express Trail Route.
Wild horses and antelope along the way.
